About Us — Why We Built TadiSim | Vietnam eSIM Team
Back in 2023, one of our founders (let’s call him Tuan because that’s his actual name) was picking up a friend from SGN airport in Saigon. Flight landed at midnight. The SIM kiosks were either closed or quoting prices that would’ve made his grandmother cry. His friend ended up using roaming for three days. The bill was ugly.
Tuan had been working in telecom in Hanoi for years. He knew the wholesale data rates. He knew the difference between a real local number and a data-only eSIM that looks good on paper but fails the moment you need an OTP for Grab. He figured there had to be a better way.
There wasn’t. So we built it.
What we actually do
We’re not a massive global eSIM reseller with 200 countries and a chatbot that reads from a script. We do one thing: Vietnam. And we try to do it properly.
• Real +84 numbers. Not data-only. Not “VoIP numbers that sort of work.” Actual Vietnamese numbers that receive OTPs from Grab, Be, Gojek, and your hotel booking apps.
• Local network partnerships. We don’t buy cheap bandwidth from a middleman. We’re partnered directly with Viettel, Vinaphone, and Mobifone. That means proper 4G/5G speeds, even when you’re on a boat in Ha Long Bay or trekking in Sapa.
• Support that understands the problem. When you email us at 11 PM because your eSIM isn’t activating, you’re talking to someone in Hanoi who knows exactly which APN setting you’re missing. Not a ticket queue in another timezone.
